mvsgas Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 I tried seeing your tracks it it keeps giving me errors. What version are you using? I do not mean open beta or release, I mean versions number. What maps are the track in? Do you use any mods. Are you having problems aligning the INS or are you saying the option to have INS always align is not working? To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. I have deleted the save games folders with no gain with this problem. Mecrutio Posted February 3, 2019 Share Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) HUD Reject? UFC, BTM left most switch. I've been fiddling with that during VL's Parking Brake on during align? Sometimes updates change start up switch positions. Ground Power Connected? IDK if it matters... If nothing is working, what is possible is the fast start procedure. Throw the INS switch to the INS/GPS position (Far right position) I think it takes 2-3 minutes, but you don't need to sit still. Now you're on GPS alone, no INS. I know it's not right, but it will get you out and combat ready. davidp57 Posted February 5, 2019 Share Posted February 5, 2019 You could also try switching the INS switch to IFA (In Flight Alignment) where the GPS will be used to align the inertial system. Usually it takes about 5 minutes (even when flying) and then the HUD shows up.
