nighteyes2017
So in my missions, i usually want to hide red units, and not show what enemy units the players can expect. Sometimes hidding a unit they have to find. However when starting the mission, players get to the screen were they can pick a role for the mission. In the background on this screen however, we can always see a seemingly random unit in 3d, and this keeps showing red units from my mission at the actual hiding spot. Is there a way to set wich unit is shown on this screen? i would prefer it to be one of the blue units.
doedkoett
Have you tried "Hide unit" and/or "Hide from mission planner"?
nighteyes2017
yes i did. this hides the unit on the map, but still shows the 3d model in the background when the mission starts.

Pikey
Its been noted before, I bnelieve this is a defect. The 3D view screen is normally hidden if the settings are done correctly, but if through a combination of settings you have a unit being shown, then I think it is always the same unit and it's probably something like the first or last unit placed in the mission. So try adding a few more in far off corners of the map and that should cure that. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
