lwalter
Does F86 work for you on the Normandy map? I've tried twice to takeoff from Rucqueville with the F86 and each time DCS crashed. FYI, I tried all the other planes I have and I don't have this issue. iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, i7 4 GHz, 32 GB RAM, AMD R9 M395X 4 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog | Cougar MFD | MFG Crosswind | EDTracker Pro | Realteus ForceFeel DCS World | Bf109 | Fw190 A8/D9 | P47 | P51 | Spitfire | I16 | C101 | L39 | F86F | MiG15 | MiG19 | MiG21 | FC3 | A10C | AJS37 | AV8BNA | F5 | F14 | F16 | F/A18 | M2000 | JF17 | Christen Eagle | Yak52 | SA342 | UH1H | Mi8 | Ka50 | Combined Arms | NS430 | Persian Gulf | Normandy | Channel | Syria | NTTR | WWII Assets
Art-J
Crashed when? Saving, loading the mission? Seems to be working here - I've just checked Rucqeville, guns only loadout, random livery, rcold start at parking spot 31, then hot start on runway, mission loaded correctly in both cases, up to the phase of getting inside the cokpit, didn't try to actually takeoff. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. iFoxRomeo
No problems here. Take off at Rucqueville with the Sabre, no DCS crash. Fox Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest
lwalter
Thanks for checking! Are you using the latest beta or the stable? The crash happens for me on the beta when starting a custom mission with my F86 ready to take off from Rucqueville. I did more checks: I tested all DCS official planes + the A4 and MB339 add-ons with this mission. All are working properly except for the F86 and the MB339. iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, i7 4 GHz, 32 GB RAM, AMD R9 M395X 4 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog | Cougar MFD | MFG Crosswind | EDTracker Pro | Realteus ForceFeel DCS World | Bf109 | Fw190 A8/D9 | P47 | P51 | Spitfire | I16 | C101 | L39 | F86F | MiG15 | MiG19 | MiG21 | FC3 | A10C | AJS37 | AV8BNA | F5 | F14 | F16 | F/A18 | M2000 | JF17 | Christen Eagle | Yak52 | SA342 | UH1H | Mi8 | Ka50 | Combined Arms | NS430 | Persian Gulf | Normandy | Channel | Syria | NTTR | WWII Assets
Art-J
Most likely a mod-related problem then. Both A4 and MB339 have a history of messing up functionality of official modules indirectly before being updated by their creators. I tested in latest Open Beta as well. You might upload that mission of yours so that we can test it on our PCs. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. Hammer1-1
Also if you have a mission that requires a certain mod to be installed, the whole thing might crash too. Art-J
Here's the mission. Tried it on my PC, it loads fine. I use quite a few mods, but none of them adds any extra aircraft or units. When DCS crashes, you could always go to your logs folder in Saved Games location, and take a look at crash logs to see what might have caused the issue. They're usually dificult to decipher, but sometimes they provide clues even for us, ordinary players.
