Thanks for this, in the document linked in this post there is this part:

"The generic Campaign set contains a \Tools\ folder which is not part of the Campaign set and can be removed from your own Campaign set. It may be helpful to place it under the main game 'Mission Editor' folder rather than buty it under a particular campaign where it could be deleted."

I cant find this tools folder, do you know about it?

Hi PB0, I was able to convert Desert Tiger to the newest version of DCE, and to use the C101CC instead (it's a real challenge). I used Nellis AFB for the initial movable bullseye in conf_mod.lua

Do you need help converting the other older DCEs in NTTR to the newest version?

Hello CDEF,

I am playing the Hornet TF74 modern campaign. I played two missions. In both there where B52's loaded with ordnance but in both missions they did not engage any target.

Playing Open Beta. I did modify the campaign by changing the Stennis for the supercarrier but I don't imagin braking anything with that.

sure. Let me just run a few missions first to remove bugs. I found the frequencies need tweaking.

Hi PB0, Here is a conversion on the Desert Tiger to the latest version of DCE. Please take a look if I butchered anything.

Good find

Are you sure the defeat was because you lost 15 aircrafts ? It's not the condition ... You should have lost 35 of your Squadron aircrafts to loose (reserve counts) ...

Please put the attached file in your Images folder in your campaign folder :)

Little bit of necro here but I figured it out at last - one of our DDG's did a 180 degree turn shortly after mission start, and rammed the Stennis, sinking it... that was the cause of the game over.

Hey Eagle 01. How is your Desert Tiger conversion installed? Do I install the original campaign and then add your files, or is it stand alone? If so, where does it install to exactly? Thanks.

Hi Chicki, it's installed in the exact same way the other new campaigns are installed. The PDF installation file included in those New Campaigns can be used for the Desert Tiger

Sorry I haven't packaged it yet like the other campaigns. That is my first conversion and I don't know if I missed anything. Once it checks out, I'll package it properly and start helping out converting the other campaigns.

I do have a C101 version of this campaign. Not for the faint of heart, you are slow and have absolutely no countermeasures. If you would want to try it out, I'll send you a link.

Hi Redliner, Please check step 2 of the PDF file to see if the DCE folder looks exactly like that. You could try to copy the ScriptMod folder in the zip file package to \Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\

If that doesn't work, can you please send a screenshot of your \Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\ScriptsMod folder?

I see the problem. You have the old scripts folder in Saved Games/DCS/mods/tech/DCE.

Please go into the zip file and copy the folder named ScriptsMOD. And paste that into saved games/DCS/mods/tech/DCE

Thanks for the help Eagle - a bit of a dunce moment here, but I don't see a "ScriptsMod" folder. I do see a "DCE_Missionscript_mod folder tho, do I rename it to "ScriptsMod" and copy it into SavedGames/DCS/mods/tech/DCE?

Hi Redliner, When you open the zip file, you would see the PDF, the DCS_Missionscript_mod folder and the tech folder. Please go into the tech folder, then into DCE, and you should see the ScriptsMod folder there along with the Missions folder and entry.lua file.

Thanks a lot Eagle_01 for all your work !

We are working (Miguel more than me ;) ) on SC conversions with new scripmod and not time enough ... Hollidays soon so I hope to have more time :)

No problem CEF. I'll go convert the other old campaigns so you and Miguel can focus on the Supercarrier.

Hey Eagle, I dl'd your latest Desert Tiger 76 Campaign and installed it exactly as in the pdf. I can't get the First Mission bat file to work. It say it can't find the file. Must be a bad path somehow. You edit the bat file so it points to your main DCS install right? My game installed at--F:\My Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World. So, what should I edit the bat file path to look like? Thanks pal.

Hi Chicki, When you edit the First Mission bat file it should look like this (be mindfull of the "):

(You can copy and paste this actually)

start "Generate First Mission" cmd /k ""F:\My Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\luae.exe" ..\..\..\ScriptsMOD\BAT_FirstMission.lua"

If you still couldn't get it to work. Please send a screenshot of the error. I suspect you may have the same issue with Redline on the previous posts. Because if the path to luae.exe is incorrect the cmd window would just close.
