H์ow to navigate to enemy location outside the beacon

As the L-39 will navigate using beacons exist on the map. If the enemy location is somewhere far away from the beacon. How can we navigate the L-39 to the enemy location (not use Map view) or pilot has to search using visual contact of his own?

The RSBN-5's manual mode can be used for navigation when out of line of sight/range of a RSBN station.

The RSBN-5 can be "zeroed" at the start of your flight to give bearing and range from

1. 
   
2. your takeoff airfield
   
3. an intermediate waypoint i.e. ingress/fence in point
   
4. the target
   

Or adjusted during the flight to chain several known visual reference points/locations together.

Once the target area is reached, targets are acquired visually.

The F10 map and ruler is used to measure bearings and distance but there is no need to view enemy units or your own position.
