The updates are ready, waiting for the green light from the coders and then it will be out.

Viper2097, updated manual to match how things work right now, but I asked Leonardo to check whether something shouldn't be changed with the way how TDC works.

r4y30n, changing font in the whole manual and then adjusting everything to look good (due to font size difference) would require much more work than it is worth.. sorry!

Thanks for the update, and kudos to Razbam for that .. so many DCS manuals are left behind after a modules release, it’s refreshing to see this update .. if I’m not mistaken this would be the second manual update for the Mirage.

Hopefully, Razbam will contract you again for the Harrier manual .. it would be swell :)

I am working on Harrier manual slowly. Should speed up once I am done with Mirage updates - CdE MP version and training missions are next in the pipeline :)

Good, a radar question on a thread about the Manual, where is the eye-roll emoticon when one needs it? :)

By the way I never managed to get it work "WAYPOINT VISUALISATION ON THE VTB" (p. 162).

Has anyone tried it recently?

Thanks

Works fine, select waypoint in prep and click val on pcn. Waypoint has to be within your radar scope/ display range when doing so.

You can only display 5 waypoints

Definitely not working for me. L/G/Z have been checked, all has been done by the book, and still no way point visible. If anyone can help I will be grateful :)

I have done it yesterday and had no issue using it. I've just checked p.162 of the manual and indeed all info are in there, especially conditions to be met in order to have it displayed:

The M-2000C allows the display of up to 5 waypoints on the VTB screen, provided

that the following conditions are met:

• They are in the selected radar display range;

• They are within the radar aperture limits, i.e. +/- 60 degrees

Don't do it at the parking spot. While flying toward your waypoints, set radar display range to maximum value on VTB. Then follow procedure described in the manual. Waypoints should appear if they are within the radar aperture limits, i.e. +/- 60 degrees.

Thanks for the updated Manual Baltic (can be downloaded via link provided on Razbam Facebook until next Open Beta release).

I have started to read the newly added infos, on WSC for example. From what i understood it has been validated by coders before manual update release.

Regarding the WSC logic with AG Weapon selected on PCA, it's mentionned that pressing WSC Fwd switches system to AG Attack Mode then WSC Aft switch back to Nav Mode with no selection on PCA (as indicated by the arrows). Then a WSC Fwd would enable AA Boresight.

That's indeed what is happening in the game as we have to click WSC depress (to leave AA Boresight mode) then WSC Fwd to go back to AG Attack Mode

I think one section is missing which is Nav Mode with AG Weapon selected where a WSC Fwd would switch back to AG Attack Mode directly, and not enter AA Boresight like for Nav Mode with no selection on PCA, something like that:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=16gJ6JAP663mYTEw6A8LLklV6gNYmPZhZ

That at least what i understood from here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3975179&postcount=1

Can you confirm behaviour described in the manual (and currently implemented) is the one that has been checked by AdA ? If it's the way it should be, then i'll get used to it (just find it strange to not be able to switch back and forth between NAV and Attack Mode with WSC Fwd/Aft when AG weapon is selected on PCA)
