I do appreciate that this is a time period map (Summer 1944) but IMHO it does not mean it should be fixed to one season only. Any feed back from the Devs would be greatly appreciated. philstyle Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 If seasonality were added, then the abiility to remove the ALGs should go with it. It seems odd to me that ED appear to have missed a commercial opportunity by restricting that map to June-Aug 1944. Having an option that toggles the ALGs off would give a historical environment relevant from late 1940 - mid 1944. Spring: (April) Summer: (July) Autumn: (September) It may appear a tad frivolous to some I guess but an improved Autumn with the addition of a Winter would not go a miss. Perhaps down the road they might look at it, but for now they (3rd Party) are only worried about summer. If you note though, there is a difference in Spring, Summer and Fall. I can only speak from a personal standpoint. in finding the response disappointing.. I had no idea multiple seasons meant a few ground texture changes and no Winter. "The map also includes multiple seasons and more detail and accuracy than any previous DCS World map by utilizing new map technologies". Shame really but what can you do. I will however when considering future map purchases, ask the relevant question prior to purchase. Please don't take this as me being obtuse as I realize the written word can be taken out of context and emotion applied where there is none.
