daniel2zion
I tried to do a runway carpet bomb by changing my interval to 900ft for each bomb drop. This changes the pipper on my hud as you can see in the video. Maybe this was already reported but here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61On8qfw70w&feature=youtu.be [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Flagrum
Afaik the pipper indicates the center of the stick of bombs you are dropping. I.e. QTY=5 --> 2 bombs before the pipper, 1 right at the pipper and 2 after the pipper. Therefor if you change the intervall, you also change the total length of the stick of bombs ... and therefore the center of that stick also moves further out. So the jumping pipper seems to be legit.
Tholozor
I also believe what Flagrum described is correct; the pipper indicates the center of the ripple spread. daniel2zion
Ok if that is so, thanks for the explanation. It's a bit weird tho to have it indicate for the middle after change. You just have to eyeball where the first bomb will drop? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

You just have to eyeball where the first bomb will drop? Just to clarify (from the way your reply is worded hard to tell if you realize this) it ALWAYS uses the middle point of the drop, it doesn't only change to middle if you change the spacing. LastRifleRound
Ok if that is so, thanks for the explanation. It's a bit weird tho to have it indicate for the middle after change. You just have to eyeball where the first bomb will drop? Not that weird if you're bombing a single target and the point of the spread is to increase hit probability. In that scenario you'd be guessing how to center the stick of bombs and trying to aim forward. Also, it's easier in general to aim at the center of things than the beginning
