fitness88
Increasing the gain in sdef files no longer increases the ingame volume as it used to. As an example below, increasing the gain = 1 to gain = 3 makes no difference as to how you hear the afterburner. In version 1.5 it increases the volume quite a bit Anyone figure out what the settings are now for increasing volume? wave = "Effects/Aircrafts/FA-18/Afterburner" distance_filter_offset = 200 inner_radius = 250 outer_radius = 1200 cone_inner_angle = 10 cone_outer_angle = 45 cone_outer_gain = 0 direction = {-1, 0, 0} release = 0.2 gain = 1 Thank you. gear_monkey
you are correct about the gain. That is used to increase the bass or "rumble" effect. I modify these values on many files to increase the amount of kick I get from my ButtKicker.
