alieneye
So I`m very happy with my new 3440x1440 monitor that I got for DCS but seems it`s working not how I expected. I thought that DCS will EXTEND the image on the sides, comparing to my old 2560x1440 monitor, so i will get the wider panorama image like my scribble here: Instead of this DCS is SCALING the whole thing up and CUTTING the pixels on the top and bottom, showing me less! 3440x1440 screenshot Is it possible to change that behavior via scripts? Maybe i`m doing something wrong? It`s working well in prepar3d. Did not try it in Falcon yet, but it looks right to me here: Don`t tell me to zoom out - view becomes distorted and unnatural to human eye because of wide camera lens (fish can`t fly airplanes! :pilotfly:). theGozr
Well do not zoom out your Fov should be like 95 not 100's+ Not 70 or 80 but 95. Your format is very wide but actually monitor for Sim should have more vertical pixels.. Fly it like you stole it..
Kuky
This is normal. It is horizontal FoV that is not changed. If you want to see wider, increase the FoV. No longer active in DCS...
