Horizontal lines in VR over the water.

Recommended Posts

I have a really weird bug in VR. When I look left or right I see many horizontal lines tracking with my head over the water in the PG map.

It does not do this in any other map or any other location in the PG, only over the water.

They're hard to see in the screenshot but they are green lines. first just a few then as you proceed up towards the horizon there are many.

My specs are as follows.

Asus Maximus X Code: Motherboard

I7-8700K

Asus Strix 1080TI 11gb OC Edition

500GB M.2 - DCS

Oculus Rift Touch

I see it also in VR,

near ZEA border, shoal water. East bank (but not only), near beaches only.

Water settings = high.

Any solution?

Its a little annoying because it moves ... like the head moves also.

I found also raport of this issue here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3497119&postcount=7 .

Only occours in some pixel density settings in VR. Seems to some shader resolution issues. SteamVR reslution 206% make those lines completely invisible for me. In 200%, it shows like your picture.

Thx I’ll try it but for you 206% means...? I have Reverb so 206% its 4320pxt x 2 :D.

For HP Reverb - 100-104% is near ok (but they are still at some angles), from 106-110% (I had 110%) this lines are visible but for 114% for me no any issue on water. Nice found! :).
