Hamilton
Hi, I flew a F-16C mission today and the AIM-120 couldn´t hit the MIG-29 ( I fired three times), the strange thing is that I flew the exact same mission yesterday (before the update) and I didn't have this problem. I didn't read anything in the changelog about it, did anyone have this problem after today´s update? Thanks! nighthawk2174
Hard to say without tacviews/tracks. Only thing I know of is that the wingtip 120's are lofting really badly and its causing them to miss a lot.
USA_Recon
I hopped on GS, had 4 kills in 2 sorties with
Hamilton
Hard to say without tacviews/tracks. Thanks for the answer guys. Sorry about the missing track/tacview, I flew the same F-16C mission I had flown before to test the update then I went out on a schedule and I´ll just come home on Wednesday. MacEwan
Yeah, hard to say without a track but maybe something to do with the improved AI update?
Fury_007
We realize you're flying the same exact mission, but were you were launching the missiles with the same launch parameters, i.e. distance, aspect, speeds?
Hamilton
, but were you were launching the missiles with the same launch parameters, i.e. distance, aspect, speeds? Yes sir, I set this mission with 3 threats, this occurred in the first threat (2 Mig 29s ahead), and you are right, due to the same speed, distance and aspect parameters, that I easily observed the difference of the missile(s) performance (accuracy) compared to the previous day flying the exact same mission. _________________________________ Aorus Z390 Extreme MB | i9 9900k CPU @ 5.0 GHz | EVGA RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra | 32 GB G Skill Trident Z 3600 MHz CL14 DDR4 Ram | Corsair H150i Pro Cooler | Corsair TX 850M PS | Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB |TMWH Hotas with VPC WarBRD Base| Corsair Gamer 570x Crystal Case | HP Reverb
Kazansky222
I'm still getting kills just fine with them. In fact the shortest range kill I got yesterday was 20 or 25nm [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.
Exorcet
3 shots is not statistically relevant, unless there is a discrepancy over many more missile launches, there doesn't seem to be an issue here. almullao
Try to shoot from less then 10nm. You'll get more kills that way. In multiplayer, any shot over 10 nm is just to push him defensive. In a tail chase 4-5nm is ideal depending on the speed. Side shots around 6nm. Until better guidance is provided, the performance won't be that good.
