Ragnar65
Guys, I´m pretty sure this topic was already handled in the forums, but can´t find any information... Eventually I purchased the Anton yesterday. I knew of the issues with the CBs, but today I had to realize, that the bomb doesn´t get released. Checked CBs and relevant switches, everything is fine. But the bomb doesn´t fall when pickelbutton is pressed... Is this a known bug or a fault of mine??? saburo_cz
Did you set fuse timing? When "Bomb fusing selector" is in the middle, "OFF" position (default pos.), you will not drop bomb. Ala13_ManOWar
Maybe you aren't using the right bomb release button? Don't know what is it right now, but stick buttons were a mess back at release time. S! "I went into the British Army believing that if you want peace you must prepare for war. Ragnar65
Guys, got it... Was the damned "Abwurfwaffe"-CB, which was off... Besides - any tipps how to aim at bombing? Put the target in the middle of the sight and pickle at a named point? How about bombing in "Wagerecht"? Also a couple notches lower than that is good, depends on what "style" you like with regards to speed and diving angle. I usually prefer the lower notches in a +30º dive and maybe 3 to 400Km/H, but that's personal preference. Watch your fuse setting and drop altitude. S! Edit: BTW I didn't drop a single bomb with Anton  but those numbers and references for Luftwaffe aircraft use to work every time. You tell me if they did . Put the target in the middle of the sight and pickle at a named point? How about bombing in "Wagerecht"? Bombing with WW2 fighters is a hit and miss thing and can never be very accurate. I normally dive towards the target at 20-30°, keeping the target at the bottom of the sight, dropping the bomb at 2000-1500 ft (700-500 m). when dropping this close to the target use MV. Level (wagerecht) bombing is even harder, and is best used againt trains and vehicle coloumns flying over the train / coloumn. It can also be used against bridges, flying along th span of the bridge. Both methods requires some traing inorder to get the right "picture" where to aim and when to drop. i7-10700K 3.8-5.1Ghz, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 12GB, 1 x 1 TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD2 TB, 1 x 2 TBHDD 7200 RPM, Win10 Home 64bit, Meta Quest 3.
