cordite
Not sure why they took it down. It's just a pre-order, and if they want to get to 200 of those...
Blackdog
RealSimulator home page has a picture of the F-16 (even has the countermeasure punch button) and a video of the prototype: https://realsimulator.com/ I don't have an interest in the F-35 throttle head, but definitely the Viper throttle! Blackdog
Game on DCS Viper drivers.. RealSimulator F-16 throttle pre-order is on, let's make this happen (don't settle for that other new F-16 throttle option!): https://realsimulator.com/lineal-throttles/ (in no way affiliated FWIW, just a DCS Viper pilot who wants to hit the 200 pre-orders to keep the batch price down & have a bad ass Viper throttle to compliment my FSSB stick).
Supmua
Much cheaper than the F-35 setup at the current preorder price. Personally, I want the F-35 setup but am tempted. cordite
But even more compared to the previous preorder, which was expected. Just tempering expectations.

Supmua
The F35 throttle grip works great with any plane, especially the A-10C, as it has more switches than you’d need. FlyingDog
It looks wonderful! I am considering the f-16 throttle. But I worried that they have enough time to test the f-16 grip. I think that the original pre-order is for f35 grip and they changed the pre-order plan.
kitcho75
Love the grip/throttle. But that was the most annoying video clip I have watched.

Richi
I owned a Thrustmaster 16000 for a while. I can say for myself that there is nothing worse than the linear movement of the throttle. Unnatural, unpleasant, generally stupid.
BaronVonVaderham
Not seeing the point of a throttle that does not reflect the real one. Seems a bit of tech for the sake of tech. I’m totally appreciative of concessions on simulated controls for pragmatic reasons, but a linear quadrant is actually less pragmatic than a rotation quadrant when it comes to development of the simulated control. The WW and TM both have less linear travel then they should, which impacts precision, and have shorter arms than they should, which results in more rotation of the grip. A full travel linear throttle is a better compromise imo although I would prefer a throttle with the correct arc.
Phantom711
They made an F-35 throttle...I think the F-16 version was just a side hustle. It doesn´t seem to be available anymore anyways. vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.

However they have been showing off their VR training seat to professional users and these are fitted with the linear throttle with either F35, EF2000 or F16 grip. Hopefully this means production is imminent. Edited November 20, 2023 by Scott-S6
Scott-S6
On the realsimulator news page - "Finally, we advise you to pay attention to our website because in the coming days, we will present new products!" So, throttles maybe? Edited December 10, 2023 by Scott-S6
