It took many years, but finally, this quality of life improvement arrived with the last OB patch.

Not going deaf anymore when dying or switching to external view is fantastic:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Finally, after years of noise about it, after a few "interesting" exchanges in a recent thread, it finally came!

Yeah more this kind of stuff, audio shouldn't be forgotten! The F2 view switch volume fade-in is the best idea ever that nobody* thought. * = me or seeing anyone mention it on the forum.

Now if they can get all of the radio chatter to play through my headset only id be a really happy camper

Wonderfull!

 

We had a thread going some time back about the traumatizing experience of suddenly dying and being thrown out of the cockpit as a spirit with world sound to max, with dog-fighting planes screeching at full ab and warhead explosions. Heart-attack inducing for sure.

 

This is a great tradeoff/compromise/solution. Brilliant programming ED!
