BitMaster
Really glad the Jet crashed into the woods and the Pilot survived with minor injuries. Since I still live near ramstein with all those heavy ones above me I fear another C-5 going down. The last one hit the meadows, if 1 hits K-town ...Lord forbid Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Asus 1080ti EK-waterblock - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus PG278Q 27" QHD Gsync 144Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
RvETito
AFAIK the wing in Spangdahlem operates block 50's. Apparently that one in particular has had the damage model implemented. Sorry, couldn't resist :D Of course, glad to know the pilot is safe. Those type of incidents a part of any type of aircraft operation with a certain probability. mvsgas
Accident report can be found here: https://www.airforcemag.com/docs/type/accident/ To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true.. Ramstein
I have been to Trier,, I lived in Germany 3 years. Trier is really nice and fascinating history. A real shame, as it is very rare for our bases in Germany to lose aircraft. They have a very good safety record for as many flights they have plus the joint NATO exercises. I was with the 86th Wing many years ago.
