bkthunder
The corner speed for the F-16 is in the range of 330 to 440 kts. At sea level on a standard day, the F-16 should reach 9g at mach 0.67 (right about 440 kts). In DCS, at M 0.67 the jet only pulls a maximum of ~8.7g with full joystick deflection. The g buildup is also pretty slow, an initial pull only reaches 8.2-8.3g before the airpseed starts to be too low to allow pulling maximum g, for this reason (not necessarily a problem/bug), in order to reach 8.7g I have to start the pull above the 440kts, at which point the peak g is 8.7 down to 440kts, where it will start to decrease. I have checked the EM charts available from various sources. GGTharos
They did specify M0.67, and they're saying the g-onset is too slow to be able to reach 9g under those circumstances. This is 60kts less than you've done your test at (60kts/0.1M) I suggest asking the SMEs about technique in this case, as a lot of misconceptions arise from lack of knowing technique. Ie. is the g onset really slow enough to cause this - what airspeed do they prefer to pull from, where do they max out etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
bkthunder
Ok here. You're at M 0.76 and 462 Knots... I'll provide a track but please pay attention to the details before labeling something as CANNOT REPRODUCE. Of course you can't if you follow the wrong parameters. ED Team Wags Posted October 9, 2019 ED Team Share Posted October 9, 2019 Hi everyone, For a sustained 9G pull the aircraft needs to be at least 450/460 kts. You should not be able tor sustain 9G below this. It would be a bug to sustain 9G at only 440 kts. At 440 kts, you should expect a sustained G of 8.8 to 8.9. This is based on get getting off the phone with a 4k+ hour Viper pilot. Anyway I was not referring to the sustained turn, but instantaneous load (fully aware this is transient and can't be sustained at 440 kts). However, I re-checked the mission file I used and the aircraft had more fuel than I had wanted to set-up (probably a slip of the mouse). Tried again at 22000 lbs GW, and it seems more in line, reaching 8.9 at 440 kts  P.S. man, you started your post with "hi everyone" and now I can't get your voice out of my head :D Edited October 9, 2019 by bkthunder Windows 10 - Intel i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz (no OC) - Asus Strix GTX 1080 8Gb - 16GB DDR4 (3000 MHz) - SSD 500GB + WD Black FZEX 1TB 6Gb/s

Thanks In the future, it will help us if you are a bit more clear in what you are describing. That way I can talk with Wags, or Wags can talk with an SME, to find the correct answer. Without a clear report, it’s difficult to provide you with correct answers. And always, please follow the bug submission guidelines and submit a track, that way we can see exactly what you are doing and there is no miscommunication.
