visuals can be see later, but actually build a realistic DM has the main objetive.

for me the visuals look very different on the 109, the bullet holes seem to be pretty precise on the hit location and the hole on the left wing is new too.
as far as i can remember

No, not exactly. If a bullet enters the top side of the left wing it won't show a whole at the specific spot, but the texture of the top wing will change to a generel damaged texture that shows damage all over the top side of the left wing.

As i understand that now Visual DM will give us general idea where bullets or shrapnels enter the airframe, for next level visual DM we will wait. but fortunatly accureate DM is what what i am looking for. Expecting ridiculous Visual DM is somehow exaggerated for today technology.

Correct, not that we wouldn't love for bullet holes to be accurate to hit, it's just not that feasible right now, but the damage we will see will be a much better indicator. The visuals we are currently working on are things like smoke, leaks, etc.

I'm glad the approach is complex DM first and graphics second. I hate the you-hit-'em you-shred-'em DM from the competitor that shall not be named. The graphics are great but there's no dogfighting because whoever lands the first shot wins. So looking forward to this and hoping it will draw more players to DCS WWII.

i like to dogfight warbirds in f-18. my question is what will happen when i shoot missile at bf109 for example ?? lets assume that new DM is relesed
