AV-8B Night Attack livery suggestions

Zeus67

Recommended Posts

Folks, this one might be something you may like, please post some suggestions for AV-8B Night Attack liveries, pics only and a short description if possible.

I can´t guarantee yours will be included, but some will make the cut to the final product, thanks for your input.

Remember that the aircraft in the images must be the Night Attack version, not the Plus nor the Day Attack.

Check these images if you have any problem identifying them:

Night Attack (This is the one we want):

I know it's not realistic but please make an RAF or RN livery.

We'll keep it in mind. No promises, we are just gathering feedback.

Same with the Spanish and Italian navies, although those are Plus versions.

I'm not sure if N/A's have this livery or only the av8b plus, but I'm a big fan of the 'inverted' color scheme, darker primary color.

This is a N/A bird.

Nope, the Spanish Navy had vanilla AV-8B (not N/A version though), which were upgraded to Plus at the end of the nineties

Today some airframes which weren't upgraded are still flying for training purposes.

That is the TAV-8B, which is a trainer and it is basically a two seater Day Attack. It has never been upgraded to Night Attack and it is certain that it will never be.

VMA-214 ‘Blacksheep’ Harrier

These are Plus Harriers.

Folks, the things you're looking for is a rectangular box above the nose, and a clear lens like nose cap. If it has a solid nose, it's a Plus. If it doesn't have the rectangular box above the nose it's a Day Attack. If it has both, that's what you want.
