WildBillKelsoe
So when I request bogey dope or picture, the AWACS gives distance in km or in nauticals ? , altitude in feet or meters ? , which altimeter it uses 29.92 or QFE from homebase? AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow. Sryan
I believe its nauticals and feet for Western aircraft, and meters for Eastern. Check my F-15C guide

cichlidfan
I believe its nauticals and feet for Western aircraft, and meters for Eastern. Am I mistaken? I thought, even with military aviation, that everyone used nautical miles for distance. Frederf
It depends on either the color faction (red/blue) or the country as set in the mission editor. A red faction Russian airplane will be given meters/km by AWACS while a blue faction USA airplane will be given feet/nm.

BattleAxes Skinner
The BRAA from AWACS is always in feet/nm irrespective of the craft being flown. || नभ स्पर्शं दीप्तम् || - Touch the sky with glory

Art-J
Might be irrespective of aircraft being flown, but is very much respective of the coalition the AWACS/GCI works for :) Blue seems to report in imperial, while red is metric. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. VZ_342
Mission editor, make a situation with 3 aircraft--yours, AWACS, and a bogey. Have all aircraft airborne and take note of the BRAA info. Compare that info to in-game BRAA.
