Hi being searching to upgrade my pc as we all know its a hard decision to make:) for those that are not pc savy like myself its picking the right specs is the reason in posting,since manly into flight sim eg tube flying p3d etc any way here is the rig i was looking at

Not sure, but that SSD is non-NVMe.

I'd get a NVMe protocol based M2 drive, not Sata based.

The PSU is a bit weak, i would not go below 750, better 850w if I was you.

Seasonic Prime is a good pick.

I would personally not get a FD AIO but one from Corsair, like H100/105/110 whatever fits the tower, 140er prefered over 120er size.

I have a similar setup as you - minus the RPG. I care less about RPG, just bring on the power. you will be happy with this setup. I would maybe recommend getting 32gb of ram if possible. I fly in VR 99% of the time getting a solid 45fps on the ground and 90 up high.

Samsung 970Evo nvme is an excellent choice, 500GB is enough for OS + DCS.

Just when you want to install the Beta as well and also own a few maps this could get tight. You can then savely install a 2nd NVMe SSD on that board in addition to the one you already have. So there is no urgent need to get a 1TB drive or 256 + 512 to save some bucks etc..

I am not sure about the Corsair PSU, Demon might now much better than I do about all those variants. What I do know is that I would get a Seasonic Prime Titanium and nothing else, really, NOTHING else. You cant beat the quality and the price is fair for what you get. better pricing than Corsair btw, and most of their top tier's are made by Seasonic, for Corsair, and many others too. Get the real deal !

Cooler, yes. H100i V2 is nice.

It's worth reading the PSU reviews and the AIO graphs are better than 1000 words when you need data to decide.

The kraken 52 and 62 (?) were good performers too but quality issues almost only leave Corsair left for AIO's.

Ya, 32GB. I didnt see that glitch. if you build fat like this, go thritytwo, dont even think sixteen anymore. Rather 32GB now and only 1 NVMe-500GB than 1TB SSD and 16Gigs. A SSD is easier to add in any format than even the best matching RAM you can find 2 month later, heck..2 weeks later.

yep will double the ram , yea could but was told in another forum its been delayed to next year, with the ssd yep agree on the ssd drive, think i go with 2 ssd 5000 gb drives
