Nume Noctre
A High Threat SAM Site high up in the Georgian Mountains has been spotted. A risky job for a single Hog... Hi folks, this is my first attempt to create a more realistic looking DCS A10C video. My way of paying tribute to this wonderful sim and the astonishing fan community. Feel free to comment, like and or give feedback on what i could have done better.....:helpsmilie: The scenario is as follows: - 10miles north of Sachkhere an insurgent SAM site has been spotted - the SAM Site is expected to be an SA-6 and and a 9K33 OSA - SEAD is not available but a JTAC has visual contact and calls us in I contact the JTAC and get the briefing and the enemy location via Data Link. I use a Markpoint to mark the target area the JTAC provides. I then set up my approach covered by the mountain ridges. I shortly pop up once over the Mountain tops to get a visual and use the TGP to mark the two targets with new very accurate mark points. I immediately get painted by the enemy radar and on of the SAMs fires. I am forced into a high G manoeuvre and try to drop behind the mountain ridge to cover... See the rest for yourself.... ....and hopefully enjoy!
