Forest Rat
Outside of setting waypoints that mirror, any way to script a baddie to actually follow a friendly plane? Thanks.
A Hamburgler
Try using MOOSEs CONTROLLABLE.TaskEscort or CONTROLLABLE.TaskFollow
Grimes
Tasks in the triggers atuomatically filter certain tasks between teams. For instance you can't make an attack group on a friendly or follow on an enemy. With scripting that limitation is not forced. https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_task_follow The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. dark_wood
You can build similar way points, then set the ROE to Weapons Hold (for the enemy). Then you can change ROE to Return Fire or Weapons Free, as you wish/need - https://srv0files.eagle.ru/dcs/manuals/DCS_User_Manual_EN.pdf - page
Zayets
You can simply set a plane to escort your flight. In the advanced waypoint you can assign the task Follow to the flight you want to follow you. Not sure if this works only for groups having CAP mission or not though. Here's a mission I made for SU-33, jump in it and wait to see the second group (which takes off before you) joining on your group. I am using this mission as a campaign start.SU-33-0-1.miz [sIGPIC]OK[/sIGPIC]

With scripting that limitation is not forced. https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_task_follow General functionality of filtering specific tasks in the mission editor makes sense but the follow task should really be allowed between enemy coalitions. Just think about any air-policing missions. F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all
Zayets
Ah, my bad. Didn't read carefully the request. It is following between coalitions. Indeed, Follow is not possible [sIGPIC]OK[/sIGPIC]
