Moving the downloaded terrain to another PC

Is it possible to download a terrain module within dcs 2 and then without activating it, move it to another PC and then activate it?

Because of the size of the download its more convenient to download it on my laptop then transfer it to the desktop.

It should be possible, though I am not sure if it is worth it. I haven't tested it but something like this should work (refer to https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 for explanation and details how to run the commands):

1. Copy your entire installation directory to the other PC.
   
2. Run something like

   DCS_updater install NORMANDY_terrain

   on the other PC. Do NOT run DCS GUI.
   

3. Copy the entire installation back to the original PC.
   
4. Run

   DCS_updater repair

   on the original PC.
