Changing My Ways

My first love in combat sims has always been the WW2 planes. I've been stubborn and only flew the American/UK planes. Even in IL2.

I've always had an interest in the 109. A small hot rod with an impressive record. Maybe tricky to land and take off but that can be handled with a lot of practice.

It's on sale for $25 right now and a good time to get it. I look forward to the new challenge.

Any advice from those with experience is appreciated.

This won't work. I watched some videos of flying the 109 and shooting down the Spit and P-51. I can't do that. It would bother me too much.

Sorry for bothering you guys but i'll stick to the P-51.

I bet it's the "stick forces" that bothers you.. :)

I think, he said that he is not able to handle the sight of spit or p-51 getting shot down.

There are quite a few good reasons to have planes from both sides.

1. You get to experience and master aircraft that have different characteristics.

2. You learn the weaknesses of the aircraft of the opposing side.

3. If there are too many players on one side you can just switch teams.
