Bob Morton Posted December 13, 2019 Share Posted December 13, 2019 Hi - so I have started trying the campaign but I notice my wingman goes bingo fuel way ahead of me. I believe he drops his tanks when we go in close so he has less fuel than I do. He ends up crashing after a while. I did not find a way in the comms to get him to return to base or to go refuel in his own. Is this possible? He doesn't need your help in AAR :) Keep in mind that current AI aircraft is really bad at conserving the fuel so if you want to keep him alive, don't make sudden maneuvers, keep below MIL, don't make steep climbs and tell him to orbit if you don't need him for a while. He will go to full burner trying to catch up, without any concern for how much fuel he's wasting.
