Saturday the 17th (not the 10th) of November, 1900 zulu
(This sudden change is due to real life work. Not going to be home on the 10th, which was the original date for the event. I'm sorry for this, folks)
Briefing is 30 minutes earlier - 1830 zulu
Hosting Server: 104th Phoenix

Mission (1.5 hours duration):

1- 20 Red players vs 20 Blue Players.
2- Red operates from Krymsk airbase. Blue operates from Anapa airbase - ca. 50 km (31 miles) separation.
3- Each airbase is defended by 6 Shilkas/Vulcans and 6 Strelas/Chaparrals.
4- 14 available slots for KA-50's and 6 for Mi-8's at Krymsk.
5- 10 available slots for SA342L's and 10 for UH-1's at Anapa.
6- SRS is mandatory.
7- I'll be doing GCI for Red. Hopefully someone will sign up to do GCI for Blue.

Situation:

10 km south of Anapa are the city of Anapskaya and harbour. Last night, 4 Blue cargo ships arrived at the harbour, and delivered various types of goods and ammo. Two Red convoys were sent over night from Krymsk to the harbour to snatch as much as possible of the cargos brought to shore.
The convoys have succeeded at doing that, and are now on their way back to Krymsk.
Unfortunately for Red, Blue helicopters are being scrambled from Anapa to destroy the convoys at all costs, after finding out about this operation. Red Ka-50's are being scrambled to provide air cover, while Mi-8's, carrying bombs, are going after the cargo ships that have just started leaving the harbour, bearing south east.

Red Objectives:

Ka-50's:
- Provide air cover for our convoys at waypoint 1 initially, and listen closely to GCI for further information.
- Escort the convoys back home.
- If possible, have a flight escorting the Mi-8's.

Mi-8's:
- Waypoint 1, bullseye, is the intercepting point for bombing the enemy's cargo ships.
- Be aware of escorting armed speedboats.

===================================================================

Blue Objectives:

SA342L's:
- Waypoint 1, bullseye, is where we expect to intercept the convoys.
- Provide escort for our Hueys and destroy enemy helicopters.
- Send a flight to our ships and escort them out of the harbour.
- Only if needed, assist the Huey's in attacking enemy convoys.

UH-1's:
- Waypoint 1, bullseye, is where we expect to intercept the convoys.
- Search and destroy enemy convoys (unknown type and number of escorting AAA's. No IR SAM's).

Notes:

1- Each player has 3 lives. 3 available airframes of each unit. If all 3 are lost, then you will have to leave the server.
2- The number of Vikhr's is limited. Therefore, don't waste them on the ships. Leave that to the Mi-8's with bombs.
3- Each player can sign up himself only. Example: Alpenwolf - Ka-50.
4- If you are a Gazelle pilot, then you can sign up a co-pilot. The co-pilot will have to fly with you the whole time. Remember, a total of 20 players per coalition. If you and your co-pilot are caught in separate modules, then both of you will be kicked out.
5- For signing up as a Gazelle pilot, use the following format: Alpenwolf + Maverick - Gazelle OR Alpenwolf - Gazelle.
6- You can sign up as GCI.

Radio Frequencies Red:

Krymsk:124 MHz (tuned by default)
GCI: 126 MHz

Radio Frequencies Blue:

Anapa: 250 MHz and 121 MHz (tuned by default)
GCI: 251 MHz

===================================================================

Two training missions have been attached:

1- Ka-50, armed with Vikhr's, gun pods and internal cannon, starting in the air, facing 1 UH-1, 1 Mistral and 1 Minigun coming at you one at a time.
2- Mi-8, engines hot, starting at a FARP, 10 km east of a TA for bombing. Pick up your own bombs at the FARP. Preferably heavy bombs.

I don't own the Gazelle, so I'm not sure about how effective the SA342Minigun is. Please let me know.
