Frostiken Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 The vent valves main purpose is to allow air/fuel to escape when the tanks are full of fuel and the fuel expands due to weather conditions..ie heat. Always good times when the fuels nerd forgets the physics of that and gasses up a jet all the way on a frosty Friday night, and by nice warm Monday the hangar has become a flammable birdbath.
