i really don't mind using same aircraft for both af and navy.
just a proper hook and white navy skin is ok for me

We dont have Carriers w/ Bridle catchers.. so...

I'm very glad we're getting slatted E variant, it was the one which saw the most service around the world, and it also just made it to Vietnam before that conflict ended. Definitely my favorite variant.

As a NAVAIR guy I completely agree that the Naval Phantom would be great to have, especially considering that this IS a naval fighter that the Air Force bought and customized. However, you guys have to look at it from a more Worldly perspective. There are many countries that bought the F-4E once the air frame gained a Cannon. Only 2 countries purchased the Naval version the U.S. and the U.K. Another perspective: The F-4E fits perfectly into ED's plans for the Persion Gulf Theater.

Honestly, if BST only has the resources to do one Phantom, then the F-4E is the best possible option.

I wonder If we will get a South East Asian map along the way? The F-4 would certainly feel at home flying above that terrain...
