Persian Gulf Missions

Rockblock

Pretty straight forward Mirage CAS mission with an interesting aspects to it. Easy/Medium difficulty.

A group of infantry were tasked to meet a HVT at the Qeshm Island Airport and exhiltrate him. After landing on the shores they noticed a road block that is stopping them from reaching the airfield. If they are caught, they will surely be imprisoned.

Read the briefing and you'll be fine.

Easy/Medium difficulty

Some "civilian" aspects to it... Let's just put it this way, you'd be mad if a jet flew over your house at Mach 1.5 right?

Requires: Mirage M-2000C and Persian Gulf map

Disclaimer: this is my first mission that I upload, I have tested it but if you find any issues, please send me a PM and I'll do my best to fix any problems.

I download the Persian Gulf map, and to my surprise I didn't see any reference to the A-10c for missions or campigns. What can you fly for missions on this terrain now? Just the Mirage? No A-10c campaigns or missions exist yet? Bummer.

The Persian Gulf map is in Early Access so there are few missions right now. You are basically going to have to make your own right now or wait until someone makes one for the aircraft you are looking for.

For the A-10C there is some Instant Action missions but that about it for now.

Hog Over Iran

Mission to show off how breathtakingly beautiful the PG map is at night and takes in some stunning scenery.

Designed for immersion with Rift mainly, with a populated home base; it is a simple mission for your 2 ship, 4 element flight to fight your way through the defences on route and destroy some targets at Lor Airbase.

Newbie friendly, no CDU or FAC work. Just basic waypoint navigation and TGP.

Warning, it IS a full fuel load mission and fuel critical, so you will need a couple of hours to complete it, but I think it is worth it.

Briefing included.

EDIT:

Hog over Iran 2 is the same mission that is slowly evolving into something a bit more complicated.

The Base is much more densely populated and a few bells and whistles have been added. Hope you taxi with your canopy open...

Randomized single mission for the F-15. Take off from the USAF base at Al Dhafra, and patrol the Iranian coastline leading a 2 ship formation. Once you're ready on station, use the F10 radio menu. Different bandits will be spawned each time. The SAM sites are also randomized. AWACS and tanker included.

Great mission... I shot down five bandits and took one glancing hit, made it back to base with no avionics, just the HSI. Score was 230 but results 0. Is there a goal other than survival?

Hi, thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it. No I didn't set up any scores or points to be given, there's absolutely no other goal than survival.

Very simple cold start mission in the F-5E from Bandar Abbas in the rains. Deliberately made this mission so it could demonstrate the new rain effects and the Iranian assets, and eventually be added by ED (hoperfully).

---------------------------------------------

Situational Brief:

The NATO/IRANIAN relationship is currently at breaking point and NATO forces have been deployed in the Persian Gulf area. It is believed that the Iranian's are moving to a war footing de-stabalising the area and potentially threatening valuable oil supply routes in the region.

The regime has threatened to launch Scud Missile attacks on it's neighbors and is believed to have deployed these assets at remote locations within it's borders.

NATO forces are carrying out clandestine operations utilizing special forces units in an attempt to locate and destroy this menacing threat.

Once located your task will be to eliminate the threat utilizing laser guided munitions for pinpoint accuracy. Special forces units will provide target marking and identification.

Good luck.

Up-date!

Updated mission now includes JTAC marker smoke/F/A-18Cs Strike Escort/Improved weather conditions/Stenis in the Carrier Group.

Just a simple Range mission so you can practice you loadout delivery.

attachment.php?attachmentid=186119&stc=1&d=1527883946

Sirri Island has been designated as a LIVE FIRING RANGE. There are varying target types as follows:

1. Enemy Base Camp.

2. APC Column.

3. Soft Skinned Vehicle Column.

4. Naval Vessels.

5. Parked Aircraft.

6. Active SAM Units.

You decide which targets you would like to engage via F10 menu selection.

Following target type confirmation you can also obtain JTAC assistance via the F10 menu.

Your JTAC will mark "GROUND UNITS ONLY" with "LASER & SMOKE". For the "PARKED AIRCRAFT & NAVAL VESSELS" ONLY SMOKE will be used.

Slots Available: (Change or Add in the ME as you see fit).

Hot Starts:

X2 AV-8B Aboard the Tarawa.

X2 AV-8B Abu Musa Island.

X2 F/A-18C Lot 20 Aboard CVN-74 JC Stennis.

X2 F/A-18C Lot 20 Abu Musa Island.

Each Airframe has a different loadout so chose which ever slot suits your training needs or amend to suit in the Mission Editor.

Multiple CTLD JTACs are being used each one uses a different laser code.

Old link removed as mission updated.

First mission of a UH-1H Campaign I am working on.

YJt8mb2.png

Night Stalkers - Supply

Your name is Edward J. Coffey. You are part of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) called "Night Stalkers".

We have information about large terrorist groups coming from the JEMEN to OMAN. There already have been fights between the police forces of DUBAI at the border. Since they can't fight them back alone, the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES asked the NATO for help.

You were stationed in AL DHADRA AIR BASE. Your mission is to secure the area in the east of DUBAI. For this task we set up a FORWARD OPERATION BASE near AL DHAID.

MOB: AL DHAFRA AB

FOB: AL DHAID

--------------------------

For a mission on the next day we need some ammunition which is stored in FUJAIRAH ( ~15NM east). We could transport it with trucks, but we need it fast.

You task is to fly to FUJAIRAH HARBOR and transport the ammunition to our FOB at AL DHAID. Since the Ammunition is in a container, you have to transport them by slingload.

At our FOB, there is an area marked with white flags. Drop the container there. DONT Destroy it!

You start with 40% fuel for weight reduction.

Invasion Iran

attachment.php?attachmentid=189180&stc=1&d=1530801547

SITUATION:

Two months ago a successful US covert intel operation has revealed and delivered proof to the US administration that Iran have been producing nuclear weapons for quite some time.

Since then, the US and NATO with support of most of the western countries has publicly condemned the operation and demanded Iran to cease and desist immediately and allow UN personnel access to the locations and oversee the dismantling and/or destruction of the production sites and already produced weapons.

Iran has not responded to any of the US/NATO demands but instead been making aggressive threats of retalliation for the unapproved US military operations in the country.

US/NATO has been conducting intel/recon flights close to the Iranian border for the past 3 days, and is now prepared for a full scale invasion of Iran with a first goal to gain a foothold of southern Iran.

BLUE TASK:

Mission goals: (In any order)

Seize Qeshm Island Airbase

Seize Havadarya Airbase

Seize Lar Airbase

INTEL:

There are several low to medium range SAM systems (SA-6) on and in the vicinity of the target airbases.

There are several EWR's in the general theatre area which looks to be defended by SA-6 systems. Destruction of EWR's should be a priority to lower the enemy ability to detect and intercept our flights.

Intel suggests there are an SA-11 Buk system close to Lar Airbase.

AWACS DARKSTAR is enroute and will be on station orbit at BULLS 207 for 80, watching the airspace.

TANKERS 'Texaco' (KC-135), 'Shell' (KC-130) and 'Arco' (S-3B) is enroute and will be on station orbit at BULLS 208 for 70.

Arco should only be used for refuelling in case of emergencies.

AI SUPPORT:

Called in through F10 menu options under Mission Command.

AI CAP flights will have callsign Springfield.

AI CAS flights will have callsign Colt.

AI SEAD flights will have callsign Uzi.

Map Marker AI targets:

Create a map marker, type SEAD or CAP in the textbox.

Use mission command menu to launch a flight and choose Map Marker option.

CVN-74 John C. Stennis is currently located about mile outside Umm Al Quwain in UAE waters, grid CP53. The Stennis is on a 15kt BRC310 cruise, and plans to get to grid BQ43, which is roughly 70nm 180 from Lar Airbase.

All flights have preconfigured flightplan:

WPT1: Qeshm Island AB

WPT2: Havadarya AB

WPT3: Lar AB

(Some flights have WPT4 which is homebase)

Radio/TACAN Frequencies:

Mission: 254Mhz AM

AWACS: 243Mhz AM

Shell: 251Mhz AM, TCN 45X

Texaco: 251Mhz AM, TCN 46X

Arco: 251Mhz AM, TCN 13X

John C. Stennis: 127.5Mhz AM, TCN 12X
