And in this same screenshot, is it possible to see remaining fuel anywhere? robgraham
The boxes are the FCS channels, if there is an issue they light up. Fuel can be seen on the IEFI or the FPAS screen on the ddi's On the fcs to xplain why so many boxes there are 4 dcs channels in the hornet, each system has to be monitored that gives you the monitoring, If any fails to monitor or the like the box gets an x in it. Hope that helps some you can find the info I. Residual
"FCS", ok, but why sooo many green small grids, what does "SV" mean, what are the numbers 1 to 4 ? The flight control system on the F/A-18 is fly by wire, and is controlled by 2 computers with 2 channels per computer for a total of 4 channels. The boxes you see and SV correspond to the status of the servo valves per channel of each of the hydraulic servo cylinders.

ED Team NineLine Posted May 20, 2018 ED Team Share Posted May 20, 2018 Yeah there is some great material out there in this. And a lot of it is probably a lot easier to read at the source than someone here copying and pasting it. Thanks to David OC above doing some of the work for us :) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
