Gierasimov
Hi ED, Really looking forward to this terrain. Looking at the detail shown so far and also gathering info from various posts, I understand this map is using the new terrain technology. Are you building this for 2.5.6.x release or is it rather tied to the new graphics engine in development? Gierasimov
Yes! There is new graphics engine AND new terrain engine under development.... So it will be using likely new terrain engine. I know, its already said it will use the new terrain engine, what I was wondering though is that whether this new terrain engine plugs into existing EDGE (let's say DCS updated to 2.5.6) or requires further version (let's say DCS 2.5.7 / 2.6.x / 3.x). QuiGon
Pretty sure it will be for 2.6 and beyond. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
