Endorphine
Hello, I have Steam Index + base stations that are fixed to walls. Every time I start DCS the position where my vr headset situated when the game initialises will be the zero position in the game, so I need to recenter view every time if the headset wasn't on my head the moment the game launched. Is there a way to tell dcs to save my desired center head position so it keeps it event AFTER the restart ??? I don't want to manually recenter my position every time since my simpit is in fixed spot and not moving. I hope I am clear. Thanks :pilotfly: Steam Index, i7 8700K, 32Gb, GTX 1070Ti, NVMe. unknown
As far as i know there is no possibility to save your vr/trackir head positon so that you don't need to recenter, you would need to have your head in the exact same position every time anyway. :dunno: But there is a "recenter VR headset" options in the controlls menu, i have bind that to a key on my HOATS. Startup DCS, put on your VR headset and push the button, finished. If you know this option already, just ignore me. Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, CA, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, Bf-109K4, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, SA342 Gazelle, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, F-14, C-101, FW-190A8, F-16C, F-5E, JF-17, SC, Mi-24P Hind, AH-64D Apache, Mirage F1, F-4E Phantom II System: Win 11 Pro 64bit, Ryzen 3800X, 32gb RAM DDR4-3200, PowerColor Radeon RX 6900XT Red Devil ,1 x Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe, 2 x Samsung SSD 2TB + 1TB SATA, MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals - VIRPIL T-50CM and VIRPIL MongoosT-50 Throttle - HP Reverg G2, using only the latest Open Beta, DCS settings

PhilSkyfire
Doesn't work in VR, at least i can't get it to work. Reverts always to the default position. VR center does work. It does work and help. Recenter VR recenters to the view you configured with RAlt+Num0. In other words, get yourself a suitable position with the help of recenter and the rest of of NumX buttons. For me it's normally height and distance to the cockpit front. When in a comfortable position, store it with RAlt+Num0. Now, when pressing Recenter, it will take the position you stored last in RAlt+Num0. Lange_666
Well, for me it doesn't. In VR i'm always sitting to low so i move the camera up and a bit forward (forward depends on the airplane). I then hit RAlt-Num0 but the next mission i'm low in my seat again, no difference if i save the cockpit angels or not. There is at least something written to the snapview.lua since it changes date and hour when i press RAlt-Num0 but it doesn't work.... ever. Been trying and looking for a solution since i went VR back in november 2019. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600.
