My prediction is 2022/2023.
Intel i7-4790K @ 4x4GHz + 16 GB DDR3 + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

My realistic expectation since they did say they only got a 15 workers/devs.

Maybe 1 and half years from now.

For my view, This depend of strategy development way and the power team of company,

1) if they want perfect product with less bug, they will take lot of years like F14 healbur, can be 3-5 years ? but the price will be high for long time.

2) if only basic feature are just implemented for releasing and after they are going for rolling upgrade for improvements features and fix bug like razbam we can buy him in <2 year. but the first release will give lot of dissatisfaction and they can't sell them full price. that will take time before the product become acceptable.

That depend also how long for getting confidential information, like the fligth model and technical operation manual of EF2000 T1. Airbus is relative flexible with simulation tools but it can be very long for getting answer.

I wouldn't be that pessimistic. Their team looks professional. If they choose some most modern version with expanded A-G capabilities it will definitely take some time. Simply look how fast ED was able to model basic Hornet or Viper and how long modeling some gizmos is taking. Avionics, systems logic, weapons, datalinks etc.
I was waiting >20 years since EF2000, I can wait another two. I hope for the best anyway.

Same here. Full fidelity DCS modules take plenty of time to develop. My guess is middle to late 2022 for early access.

New forum sections are usually added for upcoming products when they are relatively close to release. Either this is the start of a new trend or a bit telling. I don't see a forum section for the A-7, Mi-24, or P-47.
