1440p is the sweet spot for resolution and performance , especially for that card . Size ? Generally bigger is better , within reason .

9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2

are you going to run VR? if so you won't use a monitor in the game so get whatever you want.

I am using Track IR so I have three 27" 4k monitors.

either way with the prices I would still go with either a 24" 4k or 27" 4k. Bigger is better for older eyes though.

I would really recommend for you to go VR. There is a whole wealth of information on these headsets under the heading "Input and Output", section "Virtua Reality" on this forum. I am not alone when, I say that "Once tried, you will never go back to "Screenflying" again". It is just so damned realistic a flying experience, you wont believe your eyes. There must be a computer outlet, somewhere close to you, where you can have a hands-on initial experience of your own. (If not search one.) Good Luck!

I'd look into the LG32GK850G (G-sync, 144Hz/165Hz).

A 55/65" 4K samsung QLED would be nice as well (more immersive perhaps), but then you don't get G-sync or those high frame rates/responsiveness, like you get with 1440p.

NVIDIA is supposedly still coming out with those giant g-sync monitors, but with VR eventually being the way to go, I can't see myself spending that kind of money on something I will not use for DCS, in say two years.

"three 27 4k monitors"

Are you running a NASA PC and GPU's or what? Seriously tho, what graphic options are you running and what FPS can you sustain in a decent size mission? Like the F/A-18 missions, if you have the F/A-18 that is.

Love my VR, but I still go from VR back to my 144Hz 1ms 1440P to enjoy the detailed eye candy and for learning aircraft.

You only have ONE pair of eyes for your total lifetime, do not spoil them with low cost low quality screens that put more strain on them than absolutely needed.

I rather eat noodles for 1 month and get a better screen.

Plus, there is more than DCS, you need the screen for anything else but DCS-VR.
