How to deactivate WWI NEVADA and Normandy?

Recommended Posts

There is no bin folder and corresponding ***_protect.exe file under:

- DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\tech\WWII Units\

- DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\

- DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Nevada\

Also there is no "DRM" button for these maps on the module manager page in game.

So how can I deactivate these maps\assets?

By the way I could deactivate other modules, such as A-10C by using a10_protect.exe.

Please help, thanks!

Those are tied to your DCS account now and don't need to be deactivated. Any module with a .crypt file in its folder uses the new system.

At some point I'd expect most modules to use the system, but don't know when that might happen. All new modules will use it and they have transitioned a few over the last several patches to use it.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
