Hi DCS community, we are the VF-6666 Night Panthers, a passionate and highly competitive DCS fighter squadron with members coming from around the world. We fly very frequently as a cohesive aggressor group on 104th dedicated server. We are primarily equipped with McDonald Douglas F-15C Eagles and Dassault Mirage 2000s. In the near future, we plan to transition to FA-18C Hornets and F-14A/B Tomcats.

Fight us, and have fun!

See you all in game, 66666

Contact us via forum.

We are a new virtual brazilian fighter squadron.

We fly as real as possible, but the main goals are the fun and the respect between all.

We like to fly with all kind os fixed wing aircrafts.

For now, we only just would like to introduce ourselves,

We do not have open registration for new candidates currently, maybe we will have in the future.

This is our patch and the heraldic:

30019849452_dfb1a4e3b4.jpg

Eagle: Symbol of the airpower, here it implies its strength in a symbolic form, represented by the thunderbolt. The thunderbolt bleeds, because when the eagle uses its warlike capacity, it causes injuries on the enemy;

Target: Symbol of the weapons employment by professional ways;

Shield: it symbolizes that the warrior always fights to protect himself and the companions in the battlefield, with the view of protecting his troops to easily obtain the victory;

Wolf: Symbol of the pack, that for once represents the unity and hierarchy, as much as hunting or in day-by-day situations; it represents still the loyalty that members keep with the group;

Spartan: It represents the warrior that abdicates everything to favor the mission, the training e the team work.

The Virtual Armed Forces (VAF) is recruiting and looking for pilots to join us. We are a fun group of pilots that like to fly together and fly missions with each other and other squadrons. We currently fly with several other squadrons on joint training missions as well. We currently fly the A-10C, F-15, Mirage, and other DCS modules. We currently have four squadrons (three active and one inactive until the F/A-18 mod is released). They are as follows:

- 560th Virtual Flying Training Squadron - used for training and "check rides" to familiarize new pilots to the VAF - we can also provide training for new pilots that want to learn new aircraft or learn advanced weapon systems.

- 75th Virtual Fighter Squadron - A-10C squadron

- VCVW-14 - INACTIVE UNTIL F/A-18 module is released - this squadron will be Navy based and will fly either the F/A-18 and/or the F-14

- Virtual Flying Tigers - Squadron that is used for non-approved aircraft in the other squadrons (example - helicopters, Mirage, etc.)

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. Under no circumstances will any current general member or board of directors say anything negative or inflammatory towards another member either on our communication channel, Teamspeak, or on any forum including the current VAF forum. Any negative or inflammatory comments or actions will be cause for immediate expulsion from the club.

2. To become a member you must be at least 18 years of age, have a good quality HOTAS control system, have a good quality microphone headset and a good quality and stable internet (no satellite) connection.

3. All members must subscribe to the VAF BBS Forum system and check into the BBS on a regular basis to keep up with current events. All members also need to have an account on the main website as well to have access to calendars, events, documentation, etc.

4. All members must use a valid email address for communication. The VAF will also be using Skype for communication amongst members to ensure proper and timely communication.

5. All members must attend at least one flight event on a bi-weekly basis or a minimum of 3 events per month. If you are a member and you can not meet the minimum requirements, you will be placed on the inactive members list.

6. All members must provide an in game callsign that does not conflict with any weapon, vehicle, aircraft or system, or with any current members callsign.

7. New pilots will be given access to confidential information with regard to training and procedures. Dissemination of confidential information to the public will be grounds for immediate termination.

If you are interested in flying with us email us at either wheels75th@gmail.com or striker@virtualarmedforces.com. We look forward to hearing from you and flying with you soon.

Looking for an european relaxed and chill group to play coop/pvp either on public servers or private hosted environments. I am spanish and english speaker, in Europe.

I have most of the modules, but i have more experience flying the A-10C and the Mirage 2000C. I probbably can't fully commit to regular scheduling due to real life constraints. I appreciate realism but i am not looking for a second job in DCS :)

Training

Hi guys,

I'm new to DCS and want to learn how to play it properly.

Not only flying and using the aircraft itself but also real-world procedures and radio calls.

I'd love a community to play with bu I can't find any good ones which are willing to train a newby.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, take your pick from here. All are willing to train provided you adhere to their rules.

https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34062

Not entirely true. Some expect you to perform more than basic skills and if you don't do well within a certain period of weeks in kill ratio you're kicked, e.g., Black Knights ("Pilot Candidates who are accepted into the squadron are done so conditionally under a 90-day observation period.") and there's no training. Believe me this experience was very disappointing. They want a commitment of at least 2 yrs, but they don't commit to you unless you live up to their unspecified expectations, which they are free to do but won't tell you until you're kicked - just so you know.

Other squadrons you have to learn yourself going through training modules on your own with little one on one training - which is pretty boring and or requires a lot of motivation on your own. This also makes it more difficult to integrate into the squadron meeting very few people while going through weeks of training.

On the very positive side there are several squadrons that are happy and friendly and great people to train under and enjoy. It will take time. Ask questions, be clear on expectations, ask for recommendations on this forum or PM.

Any squadrons out there for the new Normandy map looking for a P-51 pilot. I'm not skilled but I can take off and land (most times lol). USA central time zone, and have 3 kids and full time job so there are no garentees for days and time. But usually if I can get on, I'll be able to fly for a few hours at a time.

The Democratic Republic of Gorgas, in the face of mounting Donovian aggression, has opened its doors to increase its ranks in its newly restructured Army Air Corps. We are also always looking for qualified Air Bosses and Ground Commanders to lead our Army Battalions

Ok all role playing aside the nation of Gorgas was invented along with four other countries in 2015 by the United States Army War College. These countries are used by most branches of the US military as a stand in for real countries in combined arms training.

We are currently recruiting if anyone is interested in joining and role play a former Soviet Satellite State.

This is a very important time for the nation of Gorgas. We are modernizing our armed forces especially our Air Corps. If you would like to be part of this future go to

If you are a DCS Chopper Pilot looking for a place to develop and share your flying and combat skills, we are a group of dedicated Digital Combat Simulator Online Helicopter Pilots, and we fly a mix of all the DCS chopper modules in an assortment of house-crafted “Ass-n-Trash” and “Low Level Hell” missions. On our servers, we do not fly A10s, Su25s or any fixed wing modules, (other than as AI controlled support, possibly).

The squadron is centered on the East Coast of USA, EST/Romeo Time-zone, UTC -5.00. We have members in UK and Europe too, and are actively seeking to broaden our membership to like-minded DCS Chopper Pilots in other parts, so long as you can join our mission times. The preferred language is English, but please ask as some speak French and a little German.

The emphasis is on camaraderie and enjoyment,while flying as a coordinated operational team. 2017 has seen the introduction of Readiness Level training and development for all members, to bring all pilots to similar skill standards, to maximize capability and success in the field. We have a core membership of regular attendees, who are actively engaged, and are looking forward to receiving new applicants. Our membership ranges from professional military helicopter pilots to devoted amateur sim-jockeys.

IF:

You already enjoy the most complex and demanding publicly available piece of flight simulation software today: Digital Combat Simulator (DCS).

You fly the helicopter modules available in DCS.

You have reached a standard where you want to develop through interaction with other pilots and up-skill your flying and team action through structured training and assessment.

You are looking for an even more immersive, realistic and complex combat mission environment.

You are seeking a cooperative multiplayer experience emphasizing team work.

You are available once or twice a month (or more!) to join set mission opportunities, and other times for co-operative skill development or a fun furball flight!

You are over 18 years old and seeking respectful adult environment, serious during the flights, less on the ground.

Then BLACK SHARK DEN is the place for YOU!

Not sure where to post this; apologies if this is the wrong place: I'm looking for a group to fly with that is exclusively interested in the F-5E and maybe the F-4 when it is released. I see a few squads that operate the F-5 as a secondary aircraft but require qualification on something else first. I just don't have the time to learn all the systems on an A-10 and find dropping bombs with fixed sights and WVR AA combat more rewarding anyways. Any squads with these sensibilities out there?

Looking to Join DCS USA Squadron.

I have been flying DCS (in VR) for 3 months and am LOVING it. When I started I was lucky enough to find a real pilot and DCS enthusiast to give me 4 weeks of flight instruction closely based on the FAA manual (in the L-39C Albatross trainer). It was an excellent experience . I followed that by learning to fly the F-5 Tiger. A2A ended up being 50% searching for the bogey and 50% chasing each other in endless circles. So I moved on to the A10C which I am in the midst of learning now. It will be the airframe that I fly from now on.

Im looking for a USA based DCS squad with servers also in the US. Based in Las Vegas. Im 63 and retired so I have lots of time and energy to dedicate to my sim flying.

If anyone knows of a squadron that fits this description, please let me know.
