FLOLS overlay?

Knock-Knock

Recommended Posts

The handy little FLOLS overlay seen in the

, will that be a SC only thing, or a DCS generic?

I am pretty sure that this is going to be an optional feature that can be turned on an off. I doubt they would force us to use that

Hopefully there’s a way to disable that overlay.

I hope it is.

No Im pretty sure it's actually going be downloaded to your PC for all time so even when your not playing DCS you can see the ball.

Bitch, bitch, bitch.....

LOL. This exactly....one of the smallest, most niche communities in gaming just constantly stabbing their 1 out of 2 options to death....its a game people. Take your flight suits and helmets off and grab a beer and have fun. I'm sure they will make it an option, just like alternate slew and other such options...

I personally like it and hope it sits nicely next to my AOA indexer in 3D/VR. I think it will really help approaches get stable earlier in the groove in my Oculus.

Hopefully, it's an item we can toggle on/off, like the controls indicator. That way, everyone's happy.

It would actually look good as a background... as long as it doesn't come with another virus warning:glare:

An option is good thing IMO.

Why ?

-It encourages a bad scan

-it aint realistic

-it can be distracting, as in you focus on it to much

-another source of error --> MAYBE at some point down the road (bug?!) the overlay dosent show the same state as the actual Lense would.

-and its cheating

Cheating and not realistic says the guy behind a monitor in the comfort and safety of your own home, running a game and holding a toy, while having in-game bionic vision and owl like abilities.
