Aim for high 4 and early 5Ghz CPU. DCS is pretty much single core clock bound. i5 9600k, i7 9700k &etc

16GB DDR 4 will get you by, 32 can be better, good RAM speed doesn't have to be 4GB/s.

 

If you are thinking VR RTX2080 unless you can pick up 1080Ti at a good price.

 

OS and DCS on SSD? Yes.

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

So Im thinking

i7 quad core PCU

new mother board

SSD drive

Geforce GTX 1080 Ti

 

My lovely wife said she buy it for my birthday present

Any suggestions/alterations ?
