ExGreyFox
I checked the European website and it seems to have a lot more details than the North America website. The EU guys are getting stock on September 28th. No news for us US folks other than "Next batch expected availability: September 2018" I'm assuming around the same time as the EU store but I could be dead wrong. BudgietheLittleHelicopter
I ordered a Gunfighter II w/ MCG pro from Aliexpress back in Feb. Shipping address was a US APO address. Had it rush shipped. Went from China to the US back to my APO address in Korea in about 8 days. Hi Blatherman, I am wondering how satisfied you are with the joystick ordered from Ali Express. It is surprising to me as the price is 354 euro, cheaper than the VKB Europe website (405 euro before shipping) and it seems that they have stock available. Do you think it is original? BudgietheLittleHelicopter
Actually it is sold out. Hope I didn’t get anybody’s hopes up. I am still curious to hear people’s experiences with aliexpress purchases of VKB joysticks.

If you buy it from AliExpress and you are in EU, it will go through customs and normally you will have to pay VAT.
Sokol1_br
Do you think it is original? Of course they are original, is from VKB store in Aliexpress. Anyway don't worth Chinese "pirate" things like joysticks - even a Warthog, the market for this is too small to make interesting business.
BudgietheLittleHelicopter
Thank you for the explanation. I hadn’t realised it was part of the same company.
Blatherman
Hi Blatherman, I am wondering how satisfied you are with the joystick ordered from Ali Express. It is surprising to me as the price is 354 euro, cheaper than the VKB Europe website (405 euro before shipping) and it seems that they have stock available. Do you think it is original? Sorry, just saw your question. I'm absolutely happy with mine! I'm sure it's original. Not only is the stick exactly as pictured, but the box, instructions, and accessories are as expected and just as high quality as the stick. I was a bit apprehensive at first since I didn't realize VKB is actually headquartered in China. Definitely not a cheap knock-off. As an aside, I paid no import fees, even though the price was declared on the package. I am, however in the US. The outer packaging (didn't take a pic...sorry) was over the top. It was double wrapped inside two very thick, sealed waterproof plastic bags. Edited November 27, 2018 by Blatherman

sze5003
I'll be trying to get one of these Monday. I have a warbrd base and mt-50 right now because I wanted the ability to use the warthog grip but I still have not used it much on there. Curious of the differences between the two so I'm looking forward to owning both. I used heavy springs on the warbrd but it's better suited for the heavier warthog grip not a lighter grip so I think I'll stick with the stock vkb springs on the gunfighter when I finally can grab one.
