Dear all, thanks for this it is awesome, I appreciate a lot, but for me it is not intuitive how to make it work.

I have read the pdf attached on the campaigns, but I guess I am not doing it correctly, when I click in install button in the DCE.exe appears an error message about not able to write .txt file..., and I also do not know how and when to apply OcGME, also the browse indicated I am not sure if it is talking about DCS inslall in program files or in saved games folder.

Another question, is possible to play coop mode?, I mean can I run in multiplayer with human wingman?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Keep pushing.

Hello,

It is not easy to create a PDF, some people complain that it is too long and too complete, others that it is incomplete...
Not easy to satisfy all of you...^^

Concerning the "DCE_installer.exe", it tries to write in the MyDocuments folder\DCE_Installer, a file named option.txt to keep in memory your path choices.

Do you have a MyDocuments folder? Or have you moved it somewhere else?

If not, try with superUser or Windows Administrator rights, when you run "DCE_installer.exe".

Concerning OvGME and its path, I don't understand exactly what you are asking for, but it is necessary:
- at first (1/a/ in the PDF) install OvGME, somewhere ^^, where you want, let's say the path C:\ovgmepathB, note that OvGME will ask you to create a Mod folder (for example)

- in a second step, (1/b/ in the PDF), fill in the requested paths, for the OvGME line, put the path where you have installed OvGME\mod, in our example: C:\ovgmepathB\mod

Thanks, but I am not able to make it run, I have the correct link to every folder, but I am admin and appear that cannot get access to ..\documents\DCE_installer\options.txt

and when I run firstmission.bat appears that the system cannot find the specified path...the strange thing is that appears DCE in DCS and I can select the campaign and start it.

and also appears the error message when exiting the mission indicated in FAQ in the pdf.

I do not know what to do.

Thanks for answering, about OvGME I have created the Mod folder (empty) and it seems it work, but I do not know what shall I do once I run OvGME, shall I put something inside Mod folder?

about the DCE installer, I run as admin and yes I have MyDocuments folder also...

Haha, excellent, but contrary to what my User can give as an idea, I am not of Spanish origin, but French.

It was during an exchange with Spaniards that they gave me this NickName: Miguel ^^

Moreover, we were very, very well received by these Spaniards.

great!, more than welcome anytime, we can organize something in English, maybe one of your campaigns in COOP mode (don't know how to do it). When we organize something I will MP you, no compromise.

Sorry for the offtopic.

I will check the installer this evening.

Finally it works, this is a great stuff, very cool. The war scenary is very well built as a first glance looks very realistic, CAPs where they should be, at the altitude and speed (loiter) for endurance, SAMs arrangement. I see the carrier stopped, do not know why. ATO well built, with sense.

All in all very cool stuff. I will report more things if you do not mind.

And by the way, the support from Miguel has been amazing, very well driven and great dedicated support, I and my squadron are very grateful to him.

Guys enjoy with it, we have paid for stuff with less value than this one, very impressive.

I think fixed tanker problem in IRIAF Tanker Wars. Scrapped fake airbase solution and turned Bandar Abas tanker sq into tanker reserves and reordered parking spots definitions for Shiraz squadrons and used tankers only from Shiraz. Seems work fine so far.

BTW I noticed something odd with parking spots defintions in campaign, When I defined 4 parking spots for F-4 squadron there that has 4 aircrafts then parking and active planes was overleaping. When I set it only to two parking defintions all was fine. Strange. I will try investigate.

Ahhh I am idiot. That bugging static F-4s are part of base_mission.miz scenery! All good with ramp allocations then. I will update fix for last time I hope.

Thank you and sorry, I don't have much time to see this right now.

I think the creator of this campaign (Polia) will appreciate it (he is away for a long time).

When pressing F10 and indicate to the carrier run into wind solves the problem. The carrier starts to move and everything is fine, same when going to land.

is it at a standstill from the beginning of the mission or towards the middle or the end?

If not, you can send the played mission a tacview plz?

I will check, and upload the tacview, for sure at start it is stop, but you ask it to put towards the wind and starts running.

The problem with carriers not moving is my fault : there were  errors in camp_trigger_init.lua file with bad TF names (old ones were still used) in Hornet, Tomcat and Mirage over PG versions, sorry 😞

It should be corrected in new uploaded versions...

Hi all,

For the Crisis in PG Tomcat version from CEF -- I had the following error come up while using the First Mission generator after installing with the DCE installer and using OVGME to put in the mission scripting file. I don't know how to trace this error -- can anyone help?

Probably is a wrong installation, I was testing that one yesterday and it works perfectly. Sadly I have no clue about your error message.

I have been testing Crisis in PG - Tomcat and in the first mission I was escorting a SEAD and Strike on a SA-6, there were many blue planes flying on the SA-6 and it didn't fire, I do not know if such behaviour is as intended or not, just to highlight it. Of course the SA-6 was killed easily then by the IA.

By the way nice war environment, very cool.

I can't recreate your bug.
I tested the loadout with Crisis Tomcat PG, normal and "light".

Does it do it all the time?
If so, please post the entire campaign here.

Hi guys, currently working on a campaign in Syria but am running into issues with the spawning. For example I got an airbase defined in the dbairbases as having 5 parking spots. ATO schedules way too many flights and the planes end up stacking on top of each other in an upwards column and they fall down and crash. What can I do to fix that?

https://imgur.com/a/zcXGyw1

I also get a lot of planes spawn in each other like this on bigger airbases with more parking spots:

https://imgur.com/a/aBnRv0c

Helicopters spawning in the middle of the runway:

https://imgur.com/a/fNU1YzW

I have

prunestatic=true

in conf_mod.

This is the generated .miz:
Bekka Valley - Syria_first.miz
Let me know if you want any other files for troubleshooting.
