How does NOTAR utilize the Coanda effect?

According to Wiki, it does. Other Google results say the same. :) Or doesn't it? I remember reading that gyroscopic precession is actually not effecting helicopter main rotor but the similar effects are purely aerodynamical.

I'm really interested to see how this comes along. AFM is definately the key word here and if you get sucked into this full time, don't hesitate to make it payware to achieve best quality. ;)

Hello Sir,

It looks very, very nice :D, Fantastic work. My dad owns a Gazelle Helicopter and i have a copy of every manual for the 342/321 in English and French which one do you require?. Thinking about it also, I'm sure we can provide you with any pictures you need and part numbers etc.

Regards

Michael

Interesting, i thought that was purely based on blowback from the expelled air.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

OP didn't post any pictures of his project, some guy from China uploaded pics of what they did but never elaborated on it, there is other thread by chinavrf with the same pictures and no word on what it is etc, this pics don't belong in this particular project thread

@heliguy

Thanks, I already have all the needed docs i think. I surely ask for more if needed.

@chinavrf

I can't understand (or I better think it's purely without any bad intention) why you posted here. The best would have been to open a new thread as you did after...

I'm working on the 3D external model at the moment and it will look rather than the following.

Glad to see see some solid progress in these last 7 pages of unrequited hype! (No offense of course, people will go crazy over any announcement of a project!) Model looks good.

Yes, it looks nice Pat :thumbup:

What does that mean (in bold letters)? Do you plan to do a clickable cockpit?

Nothing to do with the 3D clickable cokpit. I forgot the shortcuts to change the view focals. I'll use them in the next shots.

The clickable cockpit is mandatory and will be done.

Could someone help me about fuel consumption and gaz exhausts (helicopter) : How to change ?

Thanks.

EDIT : Some explanation about the following numbers and variables could be great too.

engine_data =

{

power_take_off = 1618,

power_max = 1618,

power_WEP = 1618,

power_TH_k =

{

[1] = {0, -230.8, 2245.6},

[2] = {0, -230.8, 2245.6},

[3] = {0, -325.4, 2628.9},

[4] = {0, -235.6, 1931.9},

}, -- end of power_TH_k

SFC_k = {2.045e-007, -0.0006328, 0.803},

power_RPM_k = {-0.08639, 0.24277, 0.84175},

power_RPM_min = 9.1384,

sound_name = "Aircrafts/Engines/SA342Engine",
