NRG-Vampire
looks it's not stand alone, i assume testers and developers are the only users who got the appropriate new dll files with their newer "game" version as well :(

4cMavericK
You cant. Use an older build for now or please be patient for the issue to be corrected. How much older (did you mean older Windows or ModelViewer)? I've installed 85786 on W8.1 Pro x64 and I'm getting the same error (SpaceRenderer.dll missing)... NRG-Vampire
I always just use whatever version is included with the latest DCSW Version.... maybe your latest DCSW version is the tester version of 1.3.0 or you got your "whatever MV version" with the required DLL files still missing: FMBase.dll, Weather.dll, SpaceRenderer.dll etc.
4cMavericK
I've copied some files from DCSW/bin folder that EDM was asking for, but now I'm stuck with Water.dll which doesn't exist in DCSW. SkateZilla
Im pretty sure newer builds are using newer GFX Engine Components, so unless you have access to that newer GFX Engine, you wont be able to use the new files. I dunno why that is so hard for some people to understand. The Viewers and Exporters are built daily and hosted on a FTP for Developers, the fact that they share them doesnt mean every version will work for users that do not have the most recent version of DCS World. SkateZilla
Yeah, My Mistake, i thought the first post had a don't use after this version recommendation. turns out it was backwards, it was a dont use before this version. joey45
Thought the standalone Modelviewer didn't need rely on the game engine hence why it's called a 'standalone' The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Blaze
Use the version bundled with DCS. For the public there's absolutely no benefit to using a newer version IMHO. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Slipp
Whenever I try starting the modelviewer that is included in the DCS, it just crashes before start up. No errors at all. I have installed Microsoft Visual C++. What am I missing?
klem
I have similar problems, I d/l the latest version and it says FMbase.dll is missing. I understand that I may need an earlier version and I am running Windows 7, so: 1. What is the version I should use. and/or 2. Where do I find the modelviewer "bundled with DCSW"? I have searched the main install folders and the saved Games folders without success. klem
I am using Export.lua to iterate through the P51-D main_panel items to export to a 'black box' csv file. I got that working easily enough but I can't find a reference list of what the items/values are, for example item 10 could be throttle position or manifold pressure from test movements I made but has decimal values less than 1. Similarly 101 could be RPM. o.O I was told I could see instrument references in the modelviewer but I don't see them even after going through the folders. Is there a known listing of these anywhere? klem 56 RAF 'Firebirds' ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F mobo, i7 8086A @ 5.0 GHz with Corsair H115i watercooling, Gigabyte 2080Ti GAMING OC 11Gb GPU , 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 500Gb and 256Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s + 2TB , Pimax 8k Plus VR, TM Warthog Throttle, TM F18 Grip on Virpil WarBRD base, Windows 10 Home 64bit

SkateZilla
I think I suggested that a while back, Similar to a Connector Dialog, have a Argument Dialog that shows ARG# and the Name it's Given. Foxbeard
No, although that would be wonderful. That´s a shame. Is there something like a list for the used arguments for the su-25 Pit? I am looking for the argument for the cockpit illumination. Oh, after klicking myself almost to dead, I found it out by myself, it is 180 :) Edited April 7, 2014 by Foxbeard __________________ Windows 7 Ult 64 Bit | Intel Core i5-3570 | 16GB DDR3-2133 | GTX
