kkaiserfnp
Hi all, I cannot seem to figure out how to share the yak front/rear seat for instruction in multiplayer. Any ideas? Thanks, Ken.
slikbaz
You have to bind Request Aircraft Control in your input options. Ramsay
I cannot seem to figure out how to share the yak front/rear seat for instruction in multiplayer. Any ideas? The default keybind for "Request Aircraft Control" is "J". • The 'pilot' spawns in first and once in game the 'instructor' joins the same aircraft (from the server's 'spectators' list). • The 'pilot' gets a pop up dialog listing players requesting to join his aircraft - and clicks on the player he wants to allow to join and clicks ACCEPT (or cancels the dialog).* • The 2nd player joins as the instructor in the rear seat. • The 'instructor' can then request control by using the assigned key/button "J" for 'Request Aircraft Control' • A 'Accept Request' dialog will pop up, giving the controlling player the option to refuse • ONLY the 'controlling' player's joystick - controls the Yak-52 flight stick, etc. but it's movement is seen by both players. • The 'Pilot' can 'Request Aircraft Control' back using his assigned key/button (provided the instructor accepts). * A common mistake is for the 'accepting player' to not click on the 'requesting player' name in the popup dialog and the ACCEPT dialog button remains grey/unselectable. i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080
