razo+r
Well, seems like nobody cares about bugs in the core game, because it is still a present issue...
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 4, 2020 ED Team Share Posted February 4, 2020 Hi I can not reproduce, Please add a short track replay showing the issue. Let us know your ingame settings and your graphics card settings please ensure you are not using any unofficial mods and run a cleanup and repair or verify for steam users. Attach your dcs log so we can look for clues. Thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? razo+r
To reproduce: My settings can be seen in the link in post Nr. 2 Graphics/NVIDIA settings are default Weather settings: Density to 10, choose storm. After you've set the weather, move the camera on a water surface and look around just like you can see in the above pictures. If you really want a track though, I can make one. No mods Installed and nothing around to be repaired. It just crossed my mind, maybe it has something to do with the other bug which creates some black squares around object if they are above/on water?dcs.log.zipartifacts.zip Edited February 4, 2020 by razo+r
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 4, 2020 ED Team Share Posted February 4, 2020 Please if you have time make a short track, it is the easiest way to get it reproduced and reported. razo+r
Track added to the post above. Track is really simple (in case it doesn't work). No units, only thing changed is weather. Then moved the camera from anapa Airfield to the closest water surface and looked around.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 4, 2020 ED Team Share Posted February 4, 2020 Thanks for the track I am unable to reproduce. Can I ask you to delete your metashader2 and fxo folder in your dcs saved games location. DCS will create new ones when you restart, it will take slightly longer. Let me know if you see a difference thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? razo+r
I've deleted the metashader and fxo folder, started up DCS, created the same weather and still got those artifacts.
