I even sent myself a test message to make sure the PMs were actually sending, and I got my own PM but a copy didn't show anywhere in my inbox. Something wrong with the PM system? No. You have to check the tick mark at the bottom of the text area to get your message copied into the "Sent" folder. Or you can set this to be the default somewhere in your profile. In user profile it is under "Edit Options" then there is a tickbox at the end of the Private Messaging section to fix it. When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
