robgraham Posted September 24, 2019 Share Posted September 24, 2019 He could though mean on some of those that the aircraft aren't showing up under the country list for example doing a quick run in the ME of the jets that are in DCS already for the SU27 it's missing from Abkhazia despite it being in the game already. So rather then saying that you know this is not going to happen etc I think part of it is that he's suggesting that the Country lists and aircraft be updated to include the Aircraft that they should be able to use and then also listing the AC that are now used that aren't in DCS as well. Fighterbombers or tactical bombers yes, but... That would be like saying something is a CDU bomber (for Germany) or a Democratic/Republican bomber (USA). What I find is really missing are things like SH-3 Sea King, CH-46 Sea Knight, C-2 Greyhound, Prowler, Intruder, Vigilante, Corsair II and Crusader and so on for carrier ops. There are many, very skilled artists among us that can make assets like AI aircraft and vehicles. Sadly, those often stay as unofficial mods. If community development moderated well and quality assured by ED staff like SkateZilla, NineL. etc. aswell as some form of signed agreement, I think it is a good way to bring more into DCS World without putting a strain on the ED dev team.
