Can't slew TGP with any precision. What am I doing wrong?

I know I'm doing something wrong, but as per the thread title I can't accurately slew the TGP over a target. I can move the cursor so that isn't the problem, I just can't move it precisely enough to lock anything, it just moves lots each time I press the button. I'm not a complete idiot and can do this fine in the A10, F14 and F18 so I know the button on the stick is ok, and I use the same switch for slewing the F16 in air to air, and it moves smoothly and I can lock a target no problem, just not in air to ground mode.

Any ideas what I can try please?

I put a curve on both my slew axes and also limit the saturation to like 70 or 80. I like how it works (using Warthog HOTAS)

Thanks, but this is like a hat switch and not an axis. Still is precise enough for everything else except F16 air to ground. Bizarre.

I had the same issue. Ensure that your TGP screen, most likely the left screen is SOI and not the HUD. Ran into this trying to move my pod view from a steer point way off track, got it in the zone and it was jumping like crazy. Put the pod screen as SOI and it’s all good.

I find it really buggy right now. I'll nudge the axis and it'll jump or drift a bunch sometimes before stopping movement.

Thanks for the suggestion, but TGP was definitely SOI and had the white box around the screen.

Kind of reassuring to know I'm not the only one experiencing this, so hopefully it will get addressed/rectified in due course.

Had same problem, jumped back and forth between Viper and Hornet to compare. Mapped to a HAT switch and it REALLY jumps as the OP mentioned, /and the TGP was SOI, triple checked. Especially compared to slew in the Hornet's same TGP, mapped to same keystrokes/HAT switch.

I'm hoping it's just not refined resolution/whatever wise as it is EA, but there's not comparison on the Viper and the Hornet with the same pod currently.
