UGRADE TO A 500gb SSD or go to 32gb RAM

Recommended Posts

What would give a bigger difference on performance

upgrade the HD from regular 7200 RPM SATA to a 500GB SSD, or

upgrade from 16GB to 32 GB RAM (current RAM is 3600 but now is running at 2100 due to HD I think)

Current setup:

Ryzen 5 3600

GTX 1050I

16GB RAM (Viper)

1TB SATA Drive

Thermaltake 850W

Thanks!!

SSD

Just to give you an idea on the sort of loading times you've been missing out on all this time....

If your not going to re-setup windows on this drive and DCS (It is recommended)

Then just install DCS to the drive and also make it your new page file location also.

SSD...soon after followed by RAM if money allows.

Your Bios should give an answer why your RAM is set to default JDEC specs.
