Jafergon
I've been doing some experiments with the wet deck effect. There is a texture map that controls the amount of reflection when deck is wet. Currently it's a very soft fractal noise that makes causes the reflection to be very uniform and a bit flat. I've added water coming from the padeyes because of the wind, given some structure to the acumulated water and some wind created structures. I think the effect looks kind of cool and over the weekend I'll post a link. I'm also experimenting with the deck roughness and bightness. Supercarrier is a masterpiece and it has a lot of potential for growth, both coming from ED and user mods, I'm really impressed!!

Buznee
I was trying to figure out what settings need to be configured to get the deck to look like what's shown in this video. Mine looks pretty bland. Edited May 23, 2020 by Buznee broken link
Jafergon
Object reflections are currently broken, so we can't get exactly what it's shown in the video. I'm sure it wil be fixed soon, but I'd expect a FPS price for that effect...
Harker
I haven't had time to check the SC myself yet, but in your screenshots it looks like you have SSLR set to off. I expect that in order to get good object reflections, you'd have to turn in on and pay the associated performance price. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs.
